A deep ruby wine aged for 24 months in French Allier oak barrels. This gives it a very rich bouquet of overripe cherries and dark wild berries, augmented on the finish by a subtle trace of vanilla and smoke. On the palate the wine retains a rich fruit supported by firm tannins. Recommended with strongly flavoured dishes and grilled or smoked meat. With long-term cellaring this outstanding wine will develop a luxurious velvety texture.
